A lot of folks have a lot of different opinions about what contemporary music is. What do we say it is, though? A form of popular music that spans many styles from soft rock to ballads to rock, pop, soul, and R&B. AKA the stuff you hear on the radio. While contemporary music does include tunes from as far back as the 60’s and 70’s, the heart of the genre is really Top 40—the music that’s topping the charts today.
But, as you know, the billboards are always changing so to please our many Top 40 fans, our band works hard to keep up with what’s fresh!

What artists classify as contemporary? There are plenty including the likes of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. Yet, in more recent years, popular artists who’ve had songs on the adult contemporary charts include Shania Twain, John Mayer, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Adele, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay.

To us, there’s nothing better than helping brides and grooms end their big day with a bang and watching them have a blast out on the dance floor with their guests. The good memories last a lifetime!
