The Grooves Performs a Rocking Wedding for Kirk and Rachel at Westin Riverwalk
Congratulations to Kirk and Rachel, our newlywed couple from Saturday, February 29 2020!
The Grooves band had a blast performing for you and your fun crew at your wedding at Westin Riverwalk! Thanks so much for having us out of all the great San Antonio wedding bands out there that you could have chosen.
The first dance was a classic Motown band wedding favorite, “ Let’s Stay Together“ by Al Green, with the father and daughter dance being the country music classic “I loved Her First“ by Tim McGraw. The mother and son dance was an easy rock ‘n’ roll favorite “Forever Young“ by Rod Stewart. Excellent choices that we had a blast playing for this rocking wedding party!
All in all, it was an awesome reception with super cool folks cutting a rug, ending with our bride and groom on the stage with our band singing along to “Don’t Stop Believing” by the 80’s band Journey. Epic!
We had the time of our lives making memories with Rachel, Kirk, and all their fine family and friends. We hope (and suspect!) it was a dream wedding, befitting of dream clients. Thanks for letting us be a part of it!

For a more low-key event, the Hidalgo ballroom has a stunning atmosphere, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony overlooking the tranquil San Antonio Riverwalk.
